Tucked among the trees, our wood-fired barrel sauna is a little hobbit-sized haven of heat – think crackling logs, steamy cedar hugs and birdsong instead of spa music. Fuelled by locally sourced wood and guided by a friendly sauna host, it seats up to four and gives you private access to a cosy set-up complete with a cold plunge, fire pit, lounge deck and snug changing space. Between rounds you can dip into the plunge, warm your toes by the fire, or simply stretch out and soak up the garden wilds. No frills – just everything you need for an hour of unplugging, unwinding, and reconnecting with yourself (and maybe a few lucky friends!).
